The Occupational Health Department of Samruk-Energy JSC held an extended meeting with workshop managers and those responsible for the operation of electrical installations at the group’s subsidiaries and affiliates. The discussion focused on enhancing electrical safety across production facilities.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that compliance with electrical safety requirements is a critical component in protecting employees’ lives and health.
“We cannot allow safety to be treated as a formality. Every violation poses a direct risk to employees’ lives. We are strengthening requirements and introducing personal accountability, along with additional control measures to prevent workplace incidents”, - noted Duisenbek Shardarbekov, Director of Occupational Health Department.
Participants reviewed the main causes of electrical incidents and discussed measures to prevent them. Particular attention was given to strengthening managerial responsibility for organizational and technical safety measures, as well as implementing proactive approaches aimed at preventing workplace injuries.
Employee safety remains an unquestionable priority for Samruk-Energy JSC. The company will continue to enhance protective measures to further reduce electrical incidents across its enterprises.
