The 10th anniversary Spartakiad -a company-wide multi-sport competition- was held among employees of Samruk-Energy JSC and its group of companies. At the opening ceremony, Yergen Shalin, Head of the Office of the Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy JSC, emphasized the importance of this large-scale sporting event, which has become a symbol of unity and team spirit, and wished the participants success and memorable victories.
More than 500 employees from the head office and subsidiaries took part in the competitions. They competed in 13 sports disciplines, including football, volleyball, chess, swimming, tug of war, asyk atu (a traditional Kazakh game), and others. The Spartakiad participants demonstrated excellent physical fitness, strong team cohesion, and a drive to win.
Based on the results, the team from Alatau Zharyk Company JSC took first place in the overall standings. The team from Almaty Power Plants JSC finished second, and the team from Bogatyr Komir LLP earned an honorable third place.
