Madi Sagymbaev, the Supervisor of the Main Circuit Group at Ekibastuz State District Power Plant-2 Station under “Samruk-Energy” JSC, has been named the winner of the "Best Project" category in the annual competition "Uzdik maman" (Best expert) organized by “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC.
Today, the results of the corporate competition "Uzdik maman" were announced at “Samruk-Kazyna” Fund and a celebratory award ceremony took place to honor the winners.
During the competition, Madi Sagymbaev presented his project on "The use of compiled test plans for the "TestUniverse Omicron" program for testing of distance protection based on the KRS-2 type relay block” which ultimately earned him the top spot.
The winner received the well-deserved award and cash certificate for the most outstanding and captivating project from Nurlan Zhakupov, the Chairman of the Board of “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC.
Kairat Maxutov, the Chairman of the Board of “Samruk-Energy” JSC, also extended his congratulations to Sagymbaev. The head of power holding company wished the Ekibastuz SDPP-2 employee continued success in his professional endeavors and further achievements.
Madi Sagymbaev, an electrical engineer, boasts an impressive 18-year career in the energy sector, including 7 years as an electrician at the main circuit group and 11 years as the supervisor of the main circuit group at Ekibastuz SDPP-2. He has substantial experience in activities related to optimization and has made innovative proposals for the modernization of station equipment.
"Uzdik maman" is a competition of professional expertise that has become a traditional event. It is held annually among employees of the companies within Samruk-Kazyna Fund's group. The finalists in the competition are determined by portfolio companies, and the winners are chosen through online voting.
