Samruk-Energy JSC held a ceremonial event dedicated to Power Industry Workers’ Day. The event was attended by Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC; Sungat Yesimkhanov, Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Zhandos Nurmaganbetov, CEO of the Kazenergy Association; and Talgat Temirkhanov, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Electricity Association.
In his welcoming address, Kairat Maxutov, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy JSC, congratulated the company’s employees on their professional holiday and expressed gratitude for their dedication and committed work.
“For the first time, Samruk-Energy’s share reached 34% of the total electricity generation in Kazakhstan, making the Company an undisputed industry leader. By the end of the year, growth was achieved across all key operational areas: electricity production, coal mining, transmission, and electricity sales. These results were made possible thanks to your professionalism, responsibility, and coordinated teamwork,” said Kairat Maxutov, Head of Samruk-Energy.
More than 150 employees were recognized for their outstanding contribution to the company and the country’s energy sector with medals, certificates of honor, and letters of appreciation from Samruk-Kazyna JSC, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Samruk-Energy JSC, the Kazenergy Association, the Kazakhstan Electricity Association, and the Kazakhstan Industry Trade Union of Energy Workers.
The ceremony concluded with a festive concert featuring talented employees of the group of companies.
