Samruk-Kazyna JSC summed up the results of the “Best innovative company – 2025” competition. In the “Best innovator” category, the winner was an employee of Ekibastuz SDPP-2, Dmitry Martynenko, head of the electrical shop laboratory.
Between 2023 and 2025, he implemented 18 technical improvement initiatives that enhanced equipment reliability and streamlined work processes for plant personnel. These include:
• use of the “Viratron” software suite to record vector diagrams during the start-up tests of units No. 1 and No. 2 after overhaul;
• introduction of automation for completing daily electrical shop reports;
• modifications to the signaling scheme for the status of the 500 kV outdoor switchyard circuit breakers;
• integration of electrical parameters of auxiliary transformers 01T, 02T, and 10T into the OIK-Dispatcher system;
• modernization of the control scheme for compressor No. 2 of the BVS-ORU (auxiliary systems block of the outdoor switchgear);
• and other improvements aimed at increasing functionality and enhancing operational responsiveness.
Dmitry Martynenko’s initiatives make a significant contribution to improving the efficiency of operating processes at the plant.
