Transformation project team responsible for the introduction of “Samruk-Energy” JSC new organizational structure met with representatives of HR departments of subsidiaries and affiliates of power holding company. The program on the introduction of the new organizational structure at an enterprise was presented at the meeting. This is one of the most sensitive projects, since it deals with the most important resource that is undergoing change - the staff. The procedure for the introduction of the new organizational structure was successfully carried out at the Head office, was completed at Ekibastuz SDPP-1, and today is in an active stage at “APP” JSC.
“This is the hard work of employees who are in charge of human resources management and the project team. For this reason our project team holds meetings and training workshops with stakeholders, and is always ready to answer relevant questions and help,” said Kseniya Berdnik, the project team member.
Alla Zhaminova, head of HR department at “Ekibastuz SDPP-1 named after B.Nurzhanov” LLP, shared the information about a successful completion of Job Matching by employees in August last year at the meeting with colleagues. Today, the project on the introduction of the new organizational structure is at the stage of monitoring and support. Samruk-Energy monitors the correctness of ongoing activities aimed at the transition of the plant to the target organizational structure.
Currently, the project on the introduction of the new organizational structure is replicated at “APP” JSC. Dariya Shaizhanova, the head of the company's human resources department, noted that changes will affect about 500 employees of APP, with the exception of production staff. Many employees are concerned about the upcoming assessment.
The project team members explained that the assessment would be conducted fairly, in compliance with qualification requirements for a job, the same way as at Ekibastuz SDPP-1.
“An employee who successfully passes Job Matching receives an assessment “meets requirements”. The second category of assessment - “Does not meet requirements, but will be ready within a year” and the third - “Does not meet requirements” This decision will be made by the committee which comprises SA executives and an independent member from the Head office. “Samruk-Energy” JSC Management Board will assess SA management”, - said Vladimir Pavlov, the project lead.
It is planned to evaluate jobs at APP before the end of 2019. The third wave of implementation of this Transformation project will involve two subsidiaries - “Moynak HPP named after U.D. Kantayev” JSC and “Shardarinsk HPP” JSC.
