Samruk-Energy, the largest Kazakhstani power holding company, supports domestic producers through offtake agreements. This was told at the VII Forum of Mechanical Engineers of Kazakhstan held in Nur-Sultan.
The new approaches to the development of manufacturers in the machine-building sector were discussed during one of the panel sessions of the forum, where Darkhan Sagindykov, Managing Director for Procurements of “Samruk-Energy” JSC, as part of procurements of “Samruk-Kazyna” SWF” JSC, shared the results of the work of the Local project office for import substitution. The purpose of the Office is to search for domestic suppliers who are interested in creating new manufacturing facilities for the subsequent conclusion of long-term off-take agreements. To date, Samruk-Energy have already signed 2 such agreements. The conclusion of another 3 off-take agreements is expected in the near future, including the conclusion of over 400 mln.KZT agreement with “Asia Traffo” LLP.

Procurement of organizations that are part of the holding’s group of companies is an efficient tool to support domestic suppliers.
