“Samruk-Energy” JSC plans the launch of the project on retrofit of Automatic system for commercial measurement of power consumption (ASCMPC). The system will be implemented at “Ekibastuz SDPP-1 named after B.Nurzhanov” in pilot mode, after it is expected to replicate it to other companies of Kazakhstani power holding company: “Almaty Power Plants” JSC, “Alatau Zharyk Company” JSC, “AlmatyEnergoSbyt” LLP, “Shardarinsk HPP” JSC, “Moynak Hydropower plant” JSC, “Ekibastuz SDPP-2 Plant” JSC, “First Wind Power Plant” LLP, “Samruk-Green Energy” LLP.
Automatic system for commercial measurement of power consumption is a technological solution that provides obtaining reliable information on the volume of generated, transmitted, distributed and consumed electricity and capacity.
ASCMPC allows automating accounting, achieving its maximum accuracy, receiving the analytical information, which is required for the development and adjustment of energy conservation and energy efficiency programs. It is worth noting that ASCMPC has been used for a long time at a number of Samruk-Energy companies. For example, it has been operating at "Alatau Zharyk Company" JSC since 2013.
Fundamental improvement to a completely new level will increase the technological reliability of the System and expand its functionality. Moreover, according to the specialists of “Samruk-Energy” JSC Digitization Office, the retrofit of Automatic system for commercial measurement of power consumption will improve the accuracy and transparency of mutual settlements between suppliers and consumers, will contribute to energy saving, while its centralization on the parent company’s platform will allow addressing a wide range of tasks - from monitoring of electricity production to determination of an enterprise’s performance indicators.
