Republican forum of working young adults was hosted in Zhambyl region, which brought together young professionals from the medical, oil and gas, transport and energy industries. This type of event was held in the republic for the first time and was organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Young professionals of “Samruk-Energy” holding company, including specialists of “Shardarinsk HPP”JSC, “Moynak HPP” JSC, “Bogatyr Komir” LLP, “Ekibastuz SDPP-1” LLP, "Ekibastuz SDPP-2 Plant” JSC, "APP" JSC, "AZhC" JSC were involved in the work of the Forum. “Local Trade Union of “Samruk-Energy” JSC united together the working young power engineers and miners of the holding company.
A wide range of relevant issues were considered and discussed at the meeting of young professionals; those were the participation of youth in all areas of economics and politics to the theory and practice of the trade union movement in the country. Deputies of the Mazhilis of the Kazakhstan Parliament, representatives of state and local executive bodies, the Federation of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan, industry experts and well-known legal scientists shared their opinions and experience with the forum participants.
According to one of the delegates of the forum, Anuar Abitayev, head of the Production Programs Monitoring section of RES and Distribution Department at “Samruk-Energy” JSC, everything went in one breath, with informative reports, a heated discussion during the question-answer session . “During the discussions, particular attention was paid to the development of the labor market in Kazakhstan, legal issues of resolving disputes in labor collectives, as well as issues of developing the employment market in the context of modern challenges: digitization, integration and operation of the single EAEU labor market. Great importance was attached to the need to develop social partnership, in particular, to strengthen the social part of collective agreements”- the young specialist of “Samruk-Energy” highlighted.
It should be noted that during the discussion of labor relations matters, the Collective Agreement signed between “Samruk-Energy” JSC and the representative of the staff represented by the Local Trade Union of “Samruk-Energy” received a high grade and was approved by the participants. According to the general opinion, the document that aims to regulate social and labor relations in an enterprise has a positive impact on labor motivation and enables to build partnership relations between the employer and the trade union.
