“Samruk-Energy” JSC, the largest power holding company of the Republic, plans to introduce the information and analytical system for monitoring and processing of production data using mathematical models of calculations as part of digitization at its group of companies.
Considering that it is required to engage specialists in computer sciences and mathematics in order to accomplish these tasks, the company establishes close contacts with domestic scientific and educational universities in the pilot mode.
The Memorandum on cooperation was signed on September 18 this year in Astana city between “Samruk-Energy” JSC and the “University of International Business” LLP. Bakitzhan Zhulamanov, “Samruk-Energy” JSC Chairman of the Board and Darkhan Akhmed-Zaki, the President of the University of International Business signed an important document that involves partnership in such areas as scientific, educational and public activities.
According to the memorandum, scientists of the University will be involved in solving production, scientific and practical problems that are of interest to Samruk-Energy and the companies in its structure. In turn, experts and specialists of the power holding company will assist the scientific partner in development of the University's educational programs, as well as providing students with jobs and pre-graduation internship for students and postgraduates, depending on major and principal activities of the company's business units.
As Bakitzhan Zhulamanov, Samruk-Energy CEO noted, the Memorandum concluded through our organizations - Samruk-Energy and the University of International Business, should consolidate the traditions of long-term cooperation between scientific education and business, new technological developments and internships. We hope that we will consider each other as strategic partners in the long term and cooperate on a mutually beneficial and productive basis.
