A memorandum of understanding between "Samruk-Energy" JSC and “Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited” was signed on July 7, 2015 in Astana in the course of Kazakh-Indian Business Forum. Almassadam Satkaliyev the Chairman of the Board of "Samruk-Energy" JSC and Bontha Prasada Rao BHEL Chairman signed the document in the presence of Heads of States.
According to terms of the Memorandum, the parties intend to implement a long-term cooperation in the energy sector to design, build and rehabilitate TPPs, HPPs, GTPPs and cogeneration plants.
BHEL is a leading company established by the Government of India and one of the largest engineering and manufacturing enterprises in India, whose main activity is production of power equipment (gas, steam, hydro turbines, boilers, transformers, etc.) as well as construction of power plants.
