“Samruk-Energy” JSC executives talk about transformation with the holding's staff in a live communication format. Such meetings are expected to be held weekly for increased engagement of staff in transformation processes.

"Automation of business processes - a myth or reality" - the first meeting of Alexey Ogay, the Managing Director for Business Transformation of "Samruk-Energy" JSC and the Head Office staff started under such title.

Each employee is concerned, above all, how the transformation will influence him. Alexey Ogay told about expectations and making them a reality.

One of the advantages of introducing business process automation is to shorten the timing of information "extraction". Its quality will improve greatly; it will be consolidated, more precise and competent. This will allow the specialist to focus on his performance, avoiding routine.

Alexey Ogay named so-called "myths" existing in the staff. One of them is that "smart consultants" will come and deliver the project "on a turn-key basis". However, success is not possible without the involvement of the business, without its interest in getting the right result.

Another mistaken belief is that automation will free from work.

"There is no magic button. The SAP system, which is the basic within the transformation project, requires many data that will be “recorded” by hand. All business units from HR to financial unit will participate in collection of data according to competence. There will not be less work to do, but you should keep in mind and understand the result that will satisfy you. The task is a proper identification of correct outcome”, – noted Ogay.

The staff asked a number of questions regarding Transformation Program’s implementation costs, projects deadlines, the company's readiness for digitization, as well as it highlighted the efficiency of feedback from the management of the power holding company.
