“Samruk-Energy” JSC held a meeting with honored employees of subsidiaries on the eve of International Women's Day, 8 March. Sholpan Chuzheyeva, painter-plasterer of the hydrotechnical workshop of Shardarinsk HPP and Natalya Tsukruk, train dispatcher at Bogatyr-Komir LLP were invited to the festive event.
Almassadam Satkaliyev, the Chairman of the Board of “Samruk-Energy" JSC at the meeting highlighted the role of women in contemporary society and their contribution to development of the industry. He warmly thanked ladies for dedication to the profession and achievements at work on behalf of “Samruk-Energy” JSC. Sholpan Chuzheyeva has been employed with Shardarinsk HPP for more than 25 years. She was engaged in the work on inspection of buildings and structures in the monitoring group of hydrotechnical workshop, as well as she was involved in repair of wastewater outlet of the hydropower plant. Sholpan was repeatedly praised for excellent work.
Natalia Tsukruk has been working in the coal industry for 35 years; her curriculum vitae is inextricably connected with “Bogatyr Komir” LLP and trains movement safety. She was awarded certificates of merit for high professional achievements as well as she has badges “Miner's Glory” of II and III degrees.
Sholpan Chuzheyeva and Natalya Tsukruk received letters of gratitude and memorable gifts after the meeting.
Today 22150 people work at “Samruk-Energy” JSC group of companies , 27% or over 6 thousand of them are women, there are engineers, installers, boiler drivers, turbine inspectors among them. 12% of the female staff or 731 people work in hot and harmful workshops.
