“Samruk-Energy” JSC employees demonstrated team spirit, quick-wittedness and knowledge of Kazakh language at the corporate contest of Club of the cheerful and quick-witted (KVN) entitled “Together towards heights”
Three teams comprising “Samruk-Energy” JSC employees participated in the KVN dedicated to the Independence Day of Kazakhstan and the Day of Power Engineers: “Transformers”, “Energy People” and “MKT”.
Throughout the contest KVN participants entertained with excellent jokes, showed excellent knowledge of Kazakh language. Everybody starting from top management to employees of the company laughed at sketches.
"Our team gathered talented people who fluently speak state language. Also we have experienced players who have participated in KVN since they were in the university. Not everything was easy, we had obstacles that we overcame together and this gave us an added boost of confidence in the victory. We would like to thank all those who assisted our team as well as fans of transformation unit for strong support, "- said Radion Vee, the captain of “Transformers” team.
On an improvised stage, the participants of KVN showed everyday office life, variations on the theme of employment and family situations.
"We all understand that the knowledge of the state language is the civic duty of every citizen of Kazakhstan. I believe that holding of KVN in Kazakh language is successful idea of Asylzhan Tureniyazova, head of state language development department at "Samruk-Energy" JSC. This is the first experience in our company, and I think every one of those who took part in the competition and those who have supported us, have become even closer to the Kazakh language ", - says Samal Isabaeva, captain of “Energy People” team.
KVN was held in compliance with all rules: Greeting / Business Card, biathlon and demonstration of homework on the theme “Samruk-Energy: Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow”
"Holding of such events as KVN on the state language contributes to the development of both the language and the development of culture. As they say in the folk proverbs and sayings: Where there is no language, there is no culture. I consider it remarkable that the teams of the contest consisted of regular employees of the Company of various nationalities showed the audience that funny jokes and sketches in simple Kazakh language can be easy to remember, regardless of the level of language proficiency, "- Nurmukhamed Kartabaev, captain of “MKT” team shares his view.
"Transformers" team took the 1st place with a small gap in the number of points, “Energy People” – the 2nd and “MKT” the 3rd. Winners were given prizes from the Executive Committee of PA "Local trade union “Samruk-Energy” JSC. The success of the KVN was confirmed by loud applause and a standing ovation the audience, and this is a guarantee that the event will take root and become a tradition for “Samruk-Energy” JSC.
