Power producing and transmission companies of Samruk-Energy Group received certificates of readiness for the fall and winter season ahead of time.
Certificates of readiness are issued to businesses that have completed planned repairs of the equipment, have sufficient stocks of fuel and confirmed the compliance with a number of other standard criteria to ensure security of energy supply.
"Ekibastuz SDPP-1" LLP, "ESDPP-2 plant" JSC, "Shardarinsk hydropower plant" JSC, "Aktobe CHP" JSC, "APP" JSC and "Moynak HPP" JSC, "Mangystau REC" JSC, " AZhC" JSC and "EK REC" JSC received certificates of readiness in advance.
The deadline for receipt of certificates of readiness for the fall and winter season set by the Ministry of Energy is November 1, 2016
The heating in Almaty, Aktobe cities, Solnechny rural settlement is provided according to the established schedule. From October 10, the heat is supplied in the pre-school, school and medical institutions, from October 15 in the residential sector of Almaty city. Natural gas has been supplied in the necessary volume for smooth operation of CHP-1. To date, the required operational reserve fuel has been accumulated at the thermal power plants of "APP" JSC. All scheduled organizational and technical activities that ensure the reliability of heat and power supply were completed.
From October 3 "Ekibastuz SDPP-2" JSC in Pavlodar region provided heating in Solnechny village, the suburbs of Ekibastuz city, and "Aktobe CHP" JSC provided heating in Aktobe city’s heating network from October 1.
Following the results of 2015 the group of companies of "Samruk-Energy" JSC produced 25% of electricity or every fourth kilowatt/hour generated in the country. The installed capacity of Group’s power plants reaches 6, 8 GW or 1/3 of capacity of Kazakhstan’s UPS.
The total service area of "EK REC"JSC, “AZhC" JSC and "MDPGC" JSC exceeds 550 thousand sq.km with a total of 1,250 mln. consumers.
