Following the results of external audit “Samruk-Energy” JSC received confirmation from international certification body TUV Rheinland. The Auditor highly praised the compliance of the company’s corporate governance system (CGS) with ISO 9001: 2008 requirements.
Certification audit pointed out a number of positive aspects of CGS development and operation at "Samruk-Energy" JSC in the area of corporate governance of energy assets.
Certification body auditor noted a high level of competence of staff as well as the involvement of senior management and heads of departments in the improvement of CGS.
International auditor noted the active use of risk management model which minimizes losses. Risk Committee and management system is governed by the Company’s head - A.Satkaliyev, “Samruk-Energy” JSC Chairman of the Board.
Regular evaluation of the company’s perception by the end user is among positive points. An analytical study of reputation among the population, ordinary consumers, personnel of the group’s subsidiaries and affiliates and expert community is carried out annually for this purpose.
Auditor pointed out a clear distribution of functions for each business direction of "Samruk-Energy" activity. This system ensures strengthening of operational control and centralization of key decisions taking processes in the group of companies at the head office level. The implementation of balanced scorecard in the company is underway; project management online system is entered in test mode. Personnel training evaluation system was completed and used in practice, a detailed set of measures to ensure staff qualification (selection, testing, personnel reserve, etc.) was developed.
