Samruk-Energy fosters cooperation with British companies

From 3 to 4 November 2015 in the framework of constituent meeting of the Kazakh-British Business Council and the second session of the Kazakh-British Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic, scientific, technological and cultural cooperation of the Kazakh-British Business Council in the UK,  "Samruk-Energy" JSC management held a series of meetings which resulted in signing of  memorandums of understanding with companies “Innovator Capital Limited” and “Enzen Global Ltd.” in order to continue cooperation.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Chief Executive Officer of  Enzen Global Ltd  Group Mr. Kutty Prabakaran, Chairman of the Board of "Samruk-Energy" JSC Mr. Almassadam Satkaliyev. "Samruk-Energy" JSC and “Enzen Global Ltd.” intend to develop long-term cooperation to improve operations in electricity production and generation including in renewable energy.

Promising directions were discussed during negotiations with Mr.Mungo Park the President of Innovator Capital Limited (ICL) investment company that represents British and Welsh companies’ interests, with a view to finding and implementing new technologies that meet the needs of Kazakhstan power industry.

  "Samruk-Energy" JSC intends to develop cooperation with Velocys, Liquid Light and Algenol companies in the framework of signed Memorandum.

Velocys company is known for developments in GTL (gas-to-liquids), including the introduction of technologies for coal gasification, deep processing of coal to produce liquid and gaseous types of fuel.

Algenol Company offers technologies for capturing carbon dioxide, sulfur and nitrogen oxides, particulate matters (reducing the content), and slag waste treatment during combustion of high-ash coal at the power plants.

Liquid Light Company develops technologies of CO2 conversion into high-performance chemicals.
